MCAT Prep Course

This website accompanies the MCAT prep course that I am team-teaching at Wisconsin Lutheran College in January of 2024. I will be focusing on the sections of the MCAT relating to the physical foundations of biological systems. All of my course materials can be found as pdf files below.

First, I have included the outline of physics terms and topics provided in class. We may not have covered all of these during the class period. I'd recommend that you fill this out over the coming months while you are preparing for the MCAT.

Second, I have included a few free-standing multiple choice questions from the 2010 Princeton test prep book. We'll go through some of these in class.

Third, I have included the sample practice passages, also from the 2010 Princeton test prep book. We will also go through some of these in class, as time permits.

Finally, I have included the so called "high-yield" questions from the 2013 Kaplan test prep book. These are quite challenging questions. Many of them draw on multiple concepts for their solution. Fortunately, solutions are included. These are not multiple choice questions, like typical MCAT questions. In any case, I would recommend that you attempt these problems near the end of your physics studying (not at the outset). If you can do these, then you are doing very well.
